It’s really sad, because in almost every other aspects of the program it’s a great alternative to Big Bad Bill’s proprietary Office Pack.CPU threads: 20 OS: Linux 6.1 UI render: default VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb)Ĭom.: at /builddir/build/BUILD/libreoffice-7.4.5.1/sw/source/core/unocore/unoobj2.cxx:655Īt .jni_uno.JNI_proxy.dispatch_call(Native Method)Īt .jni_uno.JNI_proxy.invoke(JNI_proxy.java:185)Īt jdk.proxy1/jdk.proxy1.$Proxy47.nextElement(Unknown Source)Īt .getDeletedCharacters(DocumentCursorTools.java:214)Īt .getAllTextParagraphs(DocumentCursorTools.java:303)Īt .refreshWriterCache(DocumentCache.java:207)Īt .refresh(DocumentCache.java:173)Īt .refreshAndCompare(DocumentCache.java:1836)Īt .handleCacheChanges(CheckRequestAnalysis.java:767)Īt .changesInNumberOfParagraph(CheckRequestAnalysis.java:882)Īt .getParaFromFlatparagraph(CheckRequestAnalysis.java:552)Īt .getParaPos(CheckRequestAnalysis.java:503)Īt .getNumberOfParagraph(CheckRequestAnalysis.java:146)Īt .getCheckResults(SingleDocument.java:301)Īt .getCheckResults(SingleDocument.java:165)Īt .getCheckResults(MultiDocumentsHandler.java:231)Īt .doProofreading(MultiDocumentsHandler.java:174)Īt .doProofreading(Main.java:81) It result in a series of sync error messages, usually 3-5 at a time. Another thing I have noticed is that my Nextcloud app has a problem synchronizing my document with my server after I've saved the document using CTRL-S? That did not happen when I was using MS Word.

Maybe it works better under Linux, I don’t know, but as a Windows 10 application it cannot be trusted. I’m retired now and are no longer required to use MS Office as part of my work and LibreOffice covers my need for this type of programs just fine but … LibreOffice Writer crashes constantly! Even if I just have a document open doing other thing around the house, it crashes regularly. After using Microsoft Word for years with my 365 Office subscription I canceled it for different reasons and shifted to use LibreOffice instead.
